I have Done the same thing but I live in Sweden.

Bought a TCU through usedcarparts.com and let them ship it to Buckhead imports instead of eurocharged. From different reviews Buckhead imports is the way to go. I'm there test person, so let me test it first and then when everything is working I will let everybody in on this.

subscribed.

I know Jerry (from EC) will do a spare TCU for you direct.
I talked to him last Dec and on top of the TCU tune, it was an additional $200 + ship for the spare TCU - for my SLK32.

Note also these issues
amg-speed-shift-conversion-srt-6-a

when questioned if they had been resolved, he stated "of course".
You'll need to decide on your redline as well...from all the posts I've read 6,500 seems to be a good number although if you're only on a 65mm pulley, you could possibly brave it to 6700.
If redline changed - I think you also have to have the ECU matched up as well.

Reading the post in the MBworld forum many people are having issues with the Eurocharged tune. That is why I went to Buckhead imports instead who seems to have a tune that actually works. But that still needs to be tested.

I've had the Eurocharged TCU on my car for 8 months with zero problems and great/noticeable improvement from stock. If there were teething problems when the tune was first released, they seem to be gone now.

That sounds like good news. Do you know what parameters they have changed? Did they increase the oil pressure?
