Pro charger srt6
Re: Pro charger srt6
Yes, i know.
What about if i give you my dyno result. ( i dont have a dyno on my car yet ) Thats even easier to screw up. So i give you what you want. Just tell me , And i screw you up.
Can you please show me a Toyota running with these car. A fake, of course.
That would be nice. As you say - you can make a 22r Toyota look fast in a Video.
Lets have a look
Re: Pro charger srt6
That's why i can beat a BMW with 1000 hp.
What kind of car do want to own ? A car you must take to a racetrack ?
This is my daily car. In the Summer.
Unfortunately, I think i have no more to share with this negative people.
I will get my car a lot faster.
And no NOS.
Who are us who wants to know everything we need to know ?
You must be kidding me

I know there is a little bit of a language barrier, so im thinking some is getting lost in translation and sarcasm. All I am after is a solid mod list. If its what you have hinted at, to me it seems just the same as most other 6's/SLK's around here. Low 12's/upper 11's on a good day. And most certainly not 500+ WHP like you have already claimed.
Re: Pro charger srt6
I hope you check in from time to time Guran. It's a bit hard for some of us to believe your claims. For instance, I've run my car with the stock exhaust, 4 cats removed, long tube headers (uncorked) 65 mm supercharger pulley, 178 ASP pulley, 65mm and 178 pulleys. (22psi) Stock heat exchanger, gallon heat exchanger, E55AMG heat exchanger. Tunes from 19º BTDC to 25º BTDC. I could go on. I know what works and what doesn't from personal experience and I'm not alone. You may know something we don't, or your car loves 0º and colder while we never run in the cold. I don't know. My first day on this forum I was asked to provide proof I'd found a 2006 SRT-6. I gave the proof. Do you believe people you've never met?

70.66 mm S/C pulley.
21.75 psi.
Civinco instead of Autronic SM4.

Re: Pro charger srt6
Timeslips tell all.
Centrifugal superchargers ARE cheaper overall to install than twin-screw superchargers and turbochargers. That is why they are so prevalent in the aftermarket. They do make great upper-RPM HP, but the down side is that they make dramatically less low-end power than a positive displacement supercharger, and can't make the great mid-range power of a turbocharger.
For me, the impressive low-end torque from this twin-screw supercharged V6 is one of the great attributes of the car. That torque, combined with the light weight and good traction from a dig, allows me to get the jump on cars with much bigger V8s, and outrun cars with much higher peak HP. Peak HP is only a number, the HP across the usable RPM band, or "area under the curve" as they say is what wins races.
Centrifugal superchargers, as well as roots and twin-screw superchargers and turbochargers all come on varying sizes, which can be selected based upon the application;
Re: Pro charger srt6
I use 665cc injectors@ 55.1, and a duty cycle of 92 %.
Now you can calculate how many hp there is in the car. And the pressure of course, 26.1 psi
Re: Pro charger srt6
PSI doesn't equate to a lot faster in my experience. From 19 psi to 22 psi was only 2 tenths of a second with a stock throttle body and supercharger. If yours is ported with a larger throttle body perhaps that explains it. Do you have an extra cooling tank? (ice)

If you run 65mm S/C pulley and a 178 crank pulley and only get 22 psi you have a leak.
Or a bad S/C.
The difference between 22 psi and 26.1 psi is gigantic in horsepower.
And it is now the car starts to move. I dont think you can understand the difference.
One big problem is to seal the plenum. The first thing I did, was blew the Plenum gaskets.
To solve the problem, I had to use OEM gaskets and Permatex Form a gasket 3.
2 tenths of a second. . 11.1 sek or 10.9. your choice.
Re: Pro charger srt6
I blew the seal between the supercharger and intercooler once, been there, know the symptoms. My problems with the plenums leaking were solved with the factory metal gaskets and 3M Copper Spray. I don't think I have a leak again but I'll check. I misspoke on the boost. Going from 19 to 22+ gave me 2 hundredths. The car pulled like crazy in first and second and felt lazy in 3rd and 4th. I was running 100 octane. My supercharger is in perfect condition. No evidence of belt slippage. AFR's were a bit lean stacked but not too bad. Bigger injectors, more air and tune seem to be the next step for me after some suspension work.

Another problem is the heat, but not in 3rd gear. Must be a leak somewhere. I bet.
Now I have glued together almost everything. And it works. Knock on wood.
Lets move on to next level on our cars. We, me and my friend, is building Top Mounted Intercooler on a SL 55 AMG. 77 mm S/C Pulley and 190 mm Crank Pulley, and Headers unt so weiter. They will fit our cars. SRT6/SLK32. If the IAT is good, that will be the next step for me. I need that thing. I have pictures on the progress , but how to show you ?
