Tranny fluid and washer fluid reservoir, repair cost estimates sought
Re: Tranny fluid and washer fluid reservoir, repair cost estimates sought
So expect this till you guys thaw out.. what is that about june? Wonderful day for taking the bike out for a couple hours.. so your cold shoulder has no effect..
Re: Tranny fluid and washer fluid reservoir, repair cost estimates sought
All these answers confuse me.
1) Tranny fluid lieak: Pizza Guy mentioned a tutorial, where is it? Is it a plug that's likely leaking or the seal for the whole tranny fluid reservoir? BTW the cap for the fill tube comes off mine with no problem and is replaced easily (and it's on good) by just pulling it (hard) off and pushing it back on the same way. There is an internal o-ring that seals it tightly.
2) The washer fluid leaks out completely but fairly slowly. Anyone else seen this in their Crossfiires? I realize the reservior is under shrouding in the wheel-well, but I don't want to get is all apart and then find I need a part that takes months to find. Hints appreciated.
It's probably my incompetence, but searching this site isn't easy.
BTW, I had a third brake light repaired (too dim) by Dave Logan Cadillac LED Replacement 3rd Brake Light, High Mounted Stop Lights, Third Brakelights For Escalade, Escalade EXT, LTZ, ESV, XLR, Seville, SLS, STS, Catera, Chrysler Crossfire Convertible. Great and very prompt service at 25% of the cost of the new part, if you can find it. It should always be so easy!

The sensor has a tendency to leak and just above my post is a guide in 180's post.
