Default Need a new IC pump...But which one???

Hi Guys,

I need to buy a new IC pump BUT not sure which one to go for as I知 in the UK the only ones I can find are:

Bosch 0392022002, Bosch 0392022010 and Johnson Pump CM30.

I知 looking for something that will be easy to put in.

I have one more Question for you guys, not sure if it痴 anything to do with the IC pump or not.

When I知 driving sometimes and floor it on a straight road and then stop at the lights and then take off as normal (not flooring it) the car red lines but the car does not move, it just revs when I press the gas lightly, and few seconds later it痴 back to normal driving.

Any ideas what this can be??

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to everyone.

Stick with the Bosch 0392022010 which is the updated version of the OEM pump and is plug and play. The Johnson will require rewiring and mount mods and is only really needed if you are modding the Supercharger. Not sure about the other problem but I'm sure others will chime in.

Good price here with free shipping...

You want the Bosch 0392022010, it is the updatedand improved OEM model. Easy to put on without playing with the plugs on the wires. The other Bosch number is the one that fails all the time.

Have you checked the transmission fluid level?

Ditto on the Bosch v Johnson

This doesnt sound normal - check your tranny fluid, but I'd do a fluid transfusion + filter.
Use a 3ft piece of curtain wire to meaure fluid level - target = 50mm at 80degC tranny fluid temp.

Transfusion - You gotta get under the car (tranny) to get to the tranny sump+filter. There's a good drain procedure somewhere (eother here or over at benzworld/R170) where you simply drain the fluid via your front cooler hoses rather than the sump plug/s.
Takes <2hrs $100 for MB fluid though and $20 for gasket/filter kit.
If not done already and only do it once - replace ye olde electrical connector and/or o-rings - $10 for the connector plug.

Auto Trans Connector:
Mercedes Transmission Connector - Genuine Mercedes 2035400253 | FCP Euro

Trans Filter Kit:
Mercedes Transmission Filter Kit - Meyle 1402700098MY | FCP Euro

You'll find alot of opinions on the Trans fluid to use. I've had very good luck with Amsoil Signature Series Multi-Vehicle Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid. Or just find one that matches up to the M/B 236.10 spec.
AMSOIL Signature Series Multi-Vehicle Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid

A must read on the Connector fix:
