Just Got My Crossfire Srt6 Roadster
Re: Just Got My Crossfire Srt6 Roadster
Welcome to the forum Lang. Sorry I can't help with the hot air cold air issue. Try turning everything (hvac) off and on including the a/c and see if it will reset.
tell us where you are located and more about your SRT. I am sure you are going to love the car.

Re: Just Got My Crossfire Srt6 Roadster
Your problem sounds like an actuator problem closing the heat off of the drivers side. If the car (20K miles in 7 years) was in storage it may just be stuck. The baffle doors are vacumm operated so perhaps it is just a hose loose.
Or it is just stuck.
Also try downshifting to rev the engine with your foot off the gas. That will supply more vacummm to the system. Might shake it loose.
Remember, it is a Benz. Best engineered cars in the world, assembled with the cheapest parts. Cheap unless you need to buy one.

Re: Just Got My Crossfire Srt6 Roadster
The problem probably lies in the solenoids under the hood that switch off the hot water to the heater core. There are two cores and two solenoids.
These adjust the amount of hot water flowing when they are in heat mode but shut off when in full AC mode. But if you have one of the ***** that adjust the heat set to hot then hot air and cold air will mix when in AC mode. The **** has to be in the "Blue" zone to see more cooling.
That's roughly the way it works.
