An introduction and a potential new 2005 SRT6
Re: An introduction and a potential new 2005 SRT6
Thanks a lot everyone! I'm not in a huge rush to get one especially since they don't sell fast. Doing "unlimited distance" searches hasn't really yielded much better results so I think I'll stick to the SRT6's nearby. Also, they are both in the color I want.
Both of the xfires I have been looking at have been on the lot for months so I'm hoping that gives me some kind of leverage on the price. Gonna save up a few more grands over the next couple of months and then go for one of them. Worse come to worst, if they are sold before I am ready to get one, I can always pick up a non-SRT6 (would be kind of bummed though). I'm not a speed demon but I'd love the option to be. Either way, Its gonna be far better than the Focus I've been driving for my entire driving career.

I have had both and I can say without a doubt go with the SRT. Insurance is all but the same and the car is built like a tank. The engines are hand-built with stronger parts, the transmission are beefed up as well as other parts.
With no worries in maintenance or repairs (some have over 90k and more), go with SRT and have some fun---Best "bang for the buck" out there.
Also. if you are going to take some more time, do not stop the unlimited searches. Since there are only 2016 SRT coupes, keep looking all over would be my recommendation. You never know when someone will get "serious" and want to move a car.
Good luck Jimmy

Quite true! I sold a Focus Wagon to help finance my SLK32. I've owned too many cars to name, but this little baby has been, without question, the most fun. If you ever get down my way, give me a shout.

We should plan an all Alabama GTG for somewhere this summer.
