Default power issue

Hello all. I just purchased an 05 srt6. The car had a coolant leak when i test drove it so the dealership didn't want me taking it far. So I bought it anyways. They supposedly changed the radiator then later said they changed the inter cooler but looking at both, it's obvious neither were changed. It goes back to the shop this tues to get a blower motor, no heat or air. My problem is that it has power sometimes. The super charger is kicking in, but i'm not sure if it is all the time. If i turn off traction control she'll burn out one time and barely chirp if anything the nex,t just for example. I'm thinking maybe the sc coolant pump is week letting the sc get hot and shut off for safety.

My problem with the dealership is that i'm talking to sales men that really know nothing about the car who are talking to the mechanics. I think that's where the story changes are coming from. I got a 3 year warranty with it, so it's on them other than my hundred dollar deductable. But if these guys don't know the difference between a radiator and inter cooler, how am i going to convince them that there is a power problem sometimes? Anybody had similar problems?

It sounds like it's the I/C pump.

Maybe the IC pump. If they said that they changed the HE, check to make sure the pump is connected. A new pump isn't too many $s, just don't buy it from the dealer, Eurocharged or Needswings.

ok guys thanks for the replies ive had a lot of cars but nothing like this one so thanks for the help ive noticed that the car temp fluctuates a lot , is it possible that a flaky ic pump might be causing that as well

It might contribute. You might want to make sure that your fan is working. Watch to see what you are doing when the temps are up, idling, slow traffic, etc. that will help narrow things down.

if you are low on coolant in your IC system that would cause this issue also.
