From what I could interpret from you wrote above it sounds like it is the supercharger intercooler pump. It is located at the passaanger side very front bottom corner. Check the fuse for the pump, do a search for what fuse number it is and where it is located. To get access to the pump you will have to remove the wheel well cover/linning to see it. You can pull the pump, rev the car above 2,000 rpm and it should turn on.

180 has a great thread that is stickied in the forum.

Others have great write ups too. Take your time and do a search and read. It is worth your time on this forum, lots of good advice from mature experienced folks.

The OEM pump is a Bosch and I think it has been upgraded. An aftermarket pump is a Johnson like FUBU pointed out above. Rob at Needswings has a lot of high quality parts at a reasonable price. He is very knowledgable and if it isn't listed on his website e-mail him and he can find out where to get the parts you need.

As far as the SC pulley, look at an OEM bearing replacement in 180's list of common problem

Hey congrats on the new purchase!! I found the updated bosch pump no.0392022010 for around $110 on amazon. I installed this one this past Tuesday with no problems. I went with this one cause its cheaper then the Johnson cm30 pump.

Just a heads up. You may want to consider flushing the coolant system with some cleaner and have it sucked down. I have found that doing so keeps me from having issues with pumps and cooling issues with tuned motor. keeping the impeller vanes clear of any gunk will make everything work better.

Damn I hope it was a great buy. Why do you think the s/c isn't working? What is it doing or not doing? Do you have intermittent power or no power at all? You have a temp sensor that can go bad as well. But with those miles replacing the pump isn't a bad thing.
