Default Questions regarding wheel spacers

I am looking to put on spacers on both front and rear. From what I understand I would need spacers with 5x112 pattern, 12x5 bolts with length = 40mm + thickness of the spacer, and 66.5mm center bore. Please let me know if the above is correct. Also could somebody post up pictures of their lowered SRT that uses spacers (please indicate how much coil was cut on front/rear if using SRT springs). I'm trying to get an idea what width I want. For the rear I'm thinking between 12mm and 15mm, and either 5mm or 10mm for the fronts - I can't seem to find anything in between like 7-8mm. Also if I do 5mm on the front, would I need longer bolts? I noticed that our cars use ball and not tapered bolts.. would it be okay to use tapered? Thanks.

You are correct on the specs for the spacers. I used H&R hub centric spacers, 12mm and 15mm. They have a 5X112 bolt pattern and a 66.5 mm bore size.

As far as shank length for your lug bolts you will need to do some math based on three things;

1. wheel thickness (that is the mounting surface of the lug bolt seat to the inner mating surface of the wheel)
2. thickness of the wheel spacer you are using
3. 18mm threaded into the hub/rotor

Always double check the bolt shank length before you go for a test drive, if the bolt is too long you could have some issues inside the rotor.

Here is what I did for reference;

Front-
TSW Max 19"X8.5" et 43mm with 12mm hubcentric spacers for an effective 31mm offset, wrapped in 245/35ZR19. The OEM springs were cut 7/8 of a coil and 1" off the shock bumper and 5 dot spring pads.

Rear-
TSW Max 20"X10.5" et 40mm offset with 15mm hubcentric spacers for an effective 25mm offset, wrapped in 285/30ZR20. The OEM springs had 1 full coil cut off and 1" off the shock bumper with 4 dot spring pads. MikeR adjustable camber arms and sway bar links with modification to the body seam to allow increased upward travel of the sway bar.

Good luck and post some pics when you get it all set up.

Thanks for the info! I'm planning on using the spacers with the stock SRT wheels. I don't think I'll be getting a camber kit for the rear as camber seems pretty reasonable and so far the tire wear seems pretty good. I'm going in for an alignment tomorrow so I will see exactly what the specs are. I realize that camber most likely stay the same although tinkering with toe, caster affects camber a little. IIRC the stock wheel bolts' shank length is 40mm so I was going to get bolts 40mm + spacer width. I cut one full coil on front rear and used the 5mm spring pads. The bolts have 12x1.5 thread correct? Do you know what offset is on the front/rear stock wheels? Have you used the spacers when you had the stock wheels? If anybody else has spacers on the stock wheels, please let me know the spacers width and how much you lowered the car and if you used a camber kit. Good thing about are cars is that fenders are already rolled in the rear, I do have a fender roller in case I need to roll them a bit more. I'm going for a flush look as the pics above, maybe have the rears out a bit more than the fronts. Here is my car lowered and no spacers, I definitely need some.

I believe you've been banned twice already for acting like a child. Hopefully with this new username you'll start fresh and act responsibly.

You were previously banned as SRT and Xman 3 if memory serves.
