Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
The VIN of my recently sold Crossfire SRT 6 roadster is 1C3AN75N65X052481
The new owner has a friend that is a Crossfire enthusiast that might be able to get the car smogged and road worthy. In the state of Nevada a car with an engine light on cannot be smogged. It had all kinds of electrical module/computer problems that my mechanic cannot fix and the Chrysler dealers garage will not touch. There is a number of other problems as well. It is beyond my knowledge base of Crossfires to fix.... costing into the thousands of dollars. It would have cost me more than I am willing to spend to fix. I just bought a reliable Lexus to replace it. I will miss the Crossfire in a lot of ways but I will not miss all the problems associated with it.

Farewell and enjoy your new Lexus, your name has been removed from the SRT6 VIN database. The update will appear at the next scheduled update.

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
I have seen a 2007 Crossfire Ltd Roadster, automatic with a SRT6 emblem on rear deck. As far a I know there were no SRT's built in 2007
The vin on this auto is: 1C3LN65L57X073780
How can I find the correct description of this car?
Thanks!

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
I highlighted thealpha/numeric that does not correspond to an SRT6 VIN#, PERIOD, regardless of the badging on the car!
The Crossfire SRT6 was sold as a 2005 or a 2006 model (special order).
All 2004 Crossfires did not have a model designation, just known as a Crossfire Coupe (but had all of the 2005 Limited options available + an auto dimming inside mirror for 2004 only).
The 2005 models included the Crossfire Limited Coupe and Roadster; the Crossfire Base coupe or roadster in black only, with a many of the standard Limited items omitted from the base and the SRT6 Coupe and Roadster.
Plain and simple, the owner badged it as an SRT6, without any knowledge of the heritage of the car!

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
THANK you! I didn't think this was a SRT6 based on the VIN #! The headlights do not work and the with for the mirrors is absent
Then IS a 2007 Crossfire Ltd Roadster, Auto Transmission, listed for sale in Southern California ($6,595, 102,868 miles) in case anyone is looking for Crossfire

Thanks for submitting the VIN information. Do you know how many other owners prior to your purchase? I had Jaybird777 as the prior owner, when it was For Sale in January 2018, that was the latest info I had concerning the prior ownership. Your info will appear at the next time I publish an update.
Congrats on the purchase of your SRT6 Roadster.
This forum has over 15+ years of information related to the SRT6 ownership.
Enjoy your "NEW" SRT6!

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Yes... I’m assuming he was in Missouri. Then purchased by a man in OH who had it for a year (and took great care) before he needed to sell it, and we purchased it. We are the 4th owner, we’re told. 70k miles on the car. It’s the one on the right; we have 2 other SRTs as well.
(SSB Coupe is potentially for sale...)

You have a great trio of SRT6's. Your almost catching up to Crystal in Louisiana with her 5 or 6 SRT6's....

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Congrats on the purchase of the SSB SRT6 Roadster, it's new to the existing VIN# database as well. Apparently the previous owner did not register it into the VIN database and may not have joined the forum. It will appear at the next update.
We are glad you found the forum and used it to obtain information to make a decision to buy one of these gems. We hope you continue to obtain all of the information to maintain your SRT6 easily by using the Search button on the main page.
your very close to the Tail of the Dragon, for meetings in the spring and fall each year, look under events at the top of the main page. There are dozens of owners that partake in the event.
Enjoy your "new" Crossfire SRT6 Roadster, one of 1,252 left hand drive manufactured, a rare auto!
