Your SRT6 is listed in the database, but I added your forum name to the line.
Thank you for responding to this thread.

Nono. This one isn't mine. It's one I'm looking to purchase.

Let me try again. I currently own #49824. I'm considering the purchase of a second SRT-6 #49468. Since I'm unable to view the VIN database, I am reporting that #49468 is a SSB coupe and inquiring whether there is any forum history for this car.

Your current SRT6 (49824) is listed in the database with your forum name. The other VIN# (49468) was recently added to the database from an Internet sales site within the past month, resulting in no history from a forum member. You'll have to contact the dealer, and they may divulge the prior owner that traded in this SRT6.
Good Luck in your search for the information.

Dennis

In Canada the prior owner would not be divulged due to privacy laws. Someone may be really upset with the previous owner for some reason and harm him, the dealer would shoulder some blame for that.
In a lesser manner the info in this thread could be considered harmful, even though people gave their info freely. Everyone is a victim these days even if they are to blame for their misfortunes.

Our privacy rights, whether USA or Canada have been compromised by companies such as Face Book, Google or any other company that does business on the internet. Any other privacy that hasn't been compromised will eventually disappear, regardless of any country's laws that were passed ages ago.
The purpose of the SRT6 VIN# database is to provide owners beyond the original owners of a path to verify the past history of an SRT6. I'm sure you had a conversation with the prior owner of your SRT6 before you purchased it. It helps to know the history before you would purchase a used car, regardless of any restriction, like in Canada.

Dennis

FaceBook and others use info they are given freely. We all know Big Brother is watching and our tastes are noted and recorded. I was making the point that the dealership should not divulge the name of the previous owner or risk they putting themselves in line for a lawsuit or criminal proceedings.
I spoke to the previous owner of my car because I purchased it privately, a different situation entirely.
I realize the purpose of the VIN database and gave my details freely.

Your forum name has been added to the existing line and will appear at the next published update to the database.
Good luck with your NEW SRT6....

In addition, please register to the SRT-6.com forum as well with your information to:
SRT-6.com - Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6

This request is the only way to obtain a database, since Chrysler and Karmann did not supply us with a complete list of SRT6's manufactured in 2005 and 2006.

So please help in the effort to obtain as many VIN#'s as possible.

Well this is an SRT6 registry thread.. there isn't a running database for registering any other makes of Crossfires. But glad you found the forum..

Hello,

I purchased a 2005 Crossfire SRT-6 this year. Sapphire Silver Blue. VIN XXXXXXXX45235 last 5.

DylanHunt

Okay Dennis,

reason I added this is that my VIN says Sapphire Silver Blue but obviously my picture of my car that I included is showing a darker blue suggesting Aero Blue.

Thanks for your response, this was listed originally as Aero Blue, so I've changed the color to SSB. The Crossfire SRT6 is a great car, enjoy your "new" ride.
The forum has a ton of maintenance and modding information that has been collected over the past 13 years.
welcome to the forum....

Thanks for the new VIN# to the database, but I also need the color and whether it's a Coupe or a Roadster to complete the information. Welcome to the forum, it has 13 + years of information related to maintenance and performance mods available to the car.
Enjoy...
