Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
I would like to report that I have the 2006 SRT #64173 in Machine Grey. It was on your list
registered to David Pickett. I have owned it since Jan 2017. I thought I may have already sent you the info.
Could you make the name change for me on your listing? It is I believe the only Machine Grey Coupe in the US. it has 63,000 mile on it and is like new. I did see there is one other 2006 MG listed in Puerto Rico. I hope it survived the latest storm?

You must have contacted me previously about your 2006 SRT6. It is listed in the database with you listed as the 2nd owner. Please look at line #7 and scroll over to the comment section, it indicates you as the latest owner of 6X064173.
The owner in Puerto Rico with the other MG SRT6 has not been active on the forum for some time. Surprisingly, there were 5 SRT6's on the island, both 2005 and 2006 models.
Enjoy your rare SRT6.....

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Hello Dennis, and researched the SRT-6 and quickly realized this is a special car. I ended up with a single owner 70,000 milegaraged 2005 Crossfire. I'm starting to clean it up a bit and I'm very excited about how much fun it is to drive. I look forward tousing your site to assist in maintaining this fine car. Thank You for your warm introduction.... Paul
Hi Dennis, I see you're located in West Chester PA, I lived in Thorndale PA 35 years ago for about three years. I'm east of Atlanta GA in the Athens area. I just fell into buying
this fine auto by chance, a friendly couple I pickleball with mentioned they had an auto for sale. I went home
Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Welcome back to the SRT6 world, great that it was another forum member that owned this SRT6. Low miles and taken care of by the 1st owner. Fewer SRT6's with the low miles, good luck with your new car!

I'm originally from the Pittsburgh area, but lived in West Chester for the past 30 years. I bought my SRT6 on April 22, 2006 from Anthony D'Ambrosio CDJ in Elverson. I'm the original owner and the car just turned over 16,000 miles.
I haven't seen another SRT6 at any local car shows/cruises in the past 12 years.
BTW, it's a small world, since Thorndale is in the neighborhood.
Good luck with your SRT6 and the forum will provide 99% of the info you'll need to keep it on the road.

Dennis

Hi Dennis, Thank you for your detailed reply. 16,000 miles ! Wow ! Talk about a collector's item !
I love Mercedes cars very much so a Chrysler with a Mercedes body and drive-train is pretty close.
I had a brother who recently passed lived in Coatesville for many years and did mission work at City Gate on route 30.
I'd love to see a photo of your classic if it's not to tough to send. my personal email is paulhemerlein@gmail.com

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Your VIN# existed in the database prior to your response to this thread. Your SRT6 VIN# was found on an Internet sales site and added to the database previously. Sorry to say, the previous owner(s) did not belong to the forum or respond to this thread, so there is no history of previous owners.
Having the forum name of owners is really important, so a history of ownership can be determined and communication can be made with prior owners to discuss prior service history and any other issues that took place in the past.
Other than what OneHundred80 provided, the color is Sapphire Silver Blue. This forum has a wealth of information to keep your SRT6 on the road for a long period of time, if maintained properly.
Welcome to the forum and Good Luck....
Dennis

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Was a lurker here until we nailed the deal down..Thought I would now contribute to this thread. Believe the car we just bought 3 days ago is in your database, but we are now the current owners. What a tight, right ride! It's a 2005 Sebring Silver Blue SRT6 coupe and at the time of purchase had 39,800. Just rolled 40,000 today.
VIN 1C3AN79N25X032156
I did start a thread on the possibility one could get a copy of the window sticker or the build sheet on your car. Since this forum has been active for many years, I sense Chrysler doesn't have it and, perhaps Mercedes is not interested. Does sound like an opportunity that has been attempted before, right?

I've added your forum name, CROSSFIRERUSH, to the existing line in the database and will appear at the next publish date. BTW, the name of the color is Sapphire Silver Blue, no relation to Sebring.
Numerous requests were made to Chrysler, as well as the Karmann factory prior to the closure of that facility. Chrysler has refused to supply any data related to the Crossfire, including a VIN# database for all Crossfires manufactured through December 17, 2007. Mercedes was and continues to be in denial of our cars, period!
Enjoy your "new" ride and welcome to the Forum, a wealth of information for your SRT6.....

DTMenace,
Duh! Sapphire Silver Blue, I knew that!! You know the racing history with Sebring. Definitely a plus for a car company to somehow work that track name into a model or color. Has to be my carryover from my '60's Corvette.
Thanks Dennis!

1C3AN79N75X049468 is a SSB coupe. I can't access the database for some reason so I can't see if it's there.
