I am assuming they are Needswings modified manifolds. They have the inlet pipes cut off and new ones welded on that flow better plus some porting work and coated. Not much is visible from the front, it takes a close inspection.

Gives a little more on the low end Dave. Makes keeping tires hooked up a little more difficult.

JEFASOLD – you are correct, they are the NeedsWings modified intake manifolds as you described.

I have yet to run it WOT as I am trying to find time to install the Zeitronix system to make sure I am not running lean. I am no closer to the install than I was a couple of weeks ago as work is keeping me hopping right now. As soon as that is done I will report back on how it runs. I will also take it to the track and let you know if my times improve (as long as you understand I am trying to improve the driver’s ability to get it down the track as well!)

Thanks for all of the compliments. I continue to struggle prioritizing what I will buy next as the list continues to grow.

One thing on your list should be the upgraded fuel pump and check valve, this will probably take care of any lean cindition. I am doing this now and I don't have my Zeitronic hooked up yet either.

You shouldn't lean with the code 3. Go smaller pulley and you will for sure.

I have the Rudy sourced 62mm SC pulley and DCAI, Then I got a tune from Eurocharged with the mods considered. I haven't finished my wideband install either but I can't keep the tailpipes clean, they are very black. This makes me feel better about not running too lean until I can do some datalogging.

Good to be careful - so many factors come into play.
If someone's running a stock intake - would they be less inclined to go lean than if they were running a DCAI due to the restriction?
