Good guess, I do have a N/A... For the guys at Eurocharged I have a few questions.- I'm not trying to rush your new software release date, but do you have any kind of time line when this new tune/tuning software will be released? If the tune is the same as it was before, can I get the remote tuning cable and tune now at the discounted price. Then, when the software is released you can just send it to me. Or do I need to wait for the new software to be released before I get a tune to get the best results?

We should have it out within 30 days. We have trips to london, hong kong, other parts of asia, and dubai in the next few weeks that makes things difficult.

I had a tune done on my N/A some time ago and already have the cable. From reading the posts I'd be getting updated software free via email that I could use at my leisure. Is there an expiration date that will be assigned to the new software or am I reading something else into it?

Now that I'm also an SRT6 owner I'm guessing that I'll need a separate software package to tune it. Does the same time parameter (if any) apply to a new software package? If not, put me down for 1 on the SRT6 list.

On a side note, does this new software work on the Mac? I may need to suck it up and downgrade to PC instead of borrowing one.

According to Jake (US), we Canadians will be dealing with Eurocharged Canada. I contacted Mike there last week before I signed up with reference to this group buy to confirm it was OK to get in on the deal and he confirmed that our price is good. I referred him to this thread & he didn't say anything about the cable so I'm assuming we get the cable too.
Payment details haven't been shared yet - I assume they'll be forthcoming once the deal closes.

Euro-Flash is the next generation software package for the Mercedes! It will have full OBDII Data Logging, OBDII Code Reading / Clearing, and you can flash your own car with encoded files sent via email! Customers will be able to data-log AFR, Timing, Boost, IAT’s, RPM, Throttle Position, ETC and our software will create a file that is easily readable.

Having used various Tuners such as HP Tuners, EFILive, Tunercat now JET on different vehicles, the Data Logging is the big feature for me. Drive your car around before or after it's tuned and log all the variables that would need adjusting. And I will let the EURO guy's redo the tune based on the Data Logs I send them and email me the updated tune. And being able to flash the ECU myself saves me any worry about taking my car to the dealer and having them blow away my tune, which has happened to me on one of my other vehicles. I knew what happened the moment I stepped on the gas, it was set back to stock. When I got home I "plugged in" and reloaded my tune and was happy once more.

I don't think you can go wrong on this deal, you give me all that for the group price and I will be very happy!

What about TCU tunes? I got an ECU tune a few years back that needs a refresher as well (got modified manifolds from needswings that isn't included in the tune). I'm guessing I need to buy the tuning cable then or would it come with the new TCU tune?

Been waiting a gazillion years for Jerry and the guys to come back to the bay area but it never happened. I'm willing to bet that this is the next step so they don't have to keep flying all over the country for tuning days.

 

I think Mr. Miata should get a free tune for drumming up all this business
