Finally got around to loading the tune. Got the error of no cable detected as soon as i hit the performance button in fast mode. Hit P Button again, chose slow mode and was done in about 60 seconds. Tune got rid of my hesitation in drive at first pedal press and smoothed things out very nicely. Seat of the pants shows a sweet gain in power, as I'm breaking the rears with alot more ease. Also I'm getting a lot meaner growl @ wot from the muffler delete.

This raped ape has turned into a cheetah with his axx on fire!!!

Got the tune today and flashed it without any problems. What a nice improvement! I can't wait for warmer weather so I can get some traction and see what it can really do!

hi Doc It's been awhile!
I see the "Crazy Cajun" is alive and well....I miss the ole' days.... I hope you still have that little roadster... just about finished with my coupe you haven't seen....don't be a stranger...

And for the record, I didn't say a tune wouldn't help a stock car...but the less flashes the better...you don't want to continually re-flash the car...do the mods you want then tune is all I'm saying...

we installed all kinds of goodies from NeedWings then get eurocharged –
can’t believe how much fun we have when we first test drive it – we were grinning ear to ear!

OK so got my cable and flash drive today. Very excited to get started but can't get the software to load properly. First it asks me to load FTDi driver and when I click yes it gives me a Nilobjectexception. Then I get a window about plugins from monkeybread software. Please help. Thanks

Does it give you a "new version" notice? You will need to right click on the icon.. "run as administrator".. then the new version notice should download when it asks again. At least that was the cure for mine.. I said okay to new version but without "run as admin" it wasn't downloading it.

http://www.eurocharged.com/EuroFlashSetup.exe

This link should be the latest version if you have issues..

That seemed to work but it only opens as administrator if I click on the icon I still get errors. Is this how yours worked?

Also noticed under the help tab you can check versions.. might need to go that route after you right click and run as admin..

Ran as administrator and down loaded the driver and the new version but when I close out and re click the icon it goes back to the same driver issue and monkeybread notice. kinda at a lost here.

I got the same messages. I ended up running mine as an XP program & that seems to have worked. I guess we'll know for sure when I get my file back.

Having had a little time to drive my SRT-6 roadster after doing this tune now, I'd have to absoliutely agree with what was said below.

I've never had my car dyno tested to make any claims about peak HP, but I know from chasing after that before in other cars I owned -- it's usually a fairly meaningless number anyway. Peak HP winds up one of those things you just want for the sake of having the paperwork and bragging rights. Meanwhile, you can actually hurt your car's overall drivability in the process, if you lose torque or HP in part of your powerband you use all the time when accelerating to typical speeds.

This tune really improved my throttle response, which IMO was needed above all else to make the car feel more peppy. (I think that's why so many people were advocating those "Sprint booster" boxes in the past. My guess is, you don't need to bother with one of them if you do this tune instead.)

From personal experience with my stock SRT-6, after the tune I only calculated a slight increase in my 0-60, and really didn't get any increase when it comes to "seat of the pants" dyno. (I'm doubting a 38hp gain)

On the other hand, What I am noticing is a smoother power band, faster response to accelerator pedal input, and more predictable gear changes.

This has greatly inproved the drivability of the vehicle and as a stand alone "modification" is well worth the money.

Also, don't forget you have life time tune's, so now with any bolt-on's you can easily maximize your gains at no additional cost.

Overall Verdict, this is a very good first purchase for any stock SRT-6. (can't speak for N/A)

I had an d wrote about the same type of response for a NA. Better response, smoother and more predictable shifts, better throughout the powerband etc. Also in my experience it unleashed the inner beast in tbe high rpm's. I wrote about this in a thread last summer. Love the results and other than putting on a better CAI that's all I' planing on doing. I'm happy with the performance of the car and want to maintain the overall driving performance.

Have to agree totally.. It's like the tune wakes up the "sports car" in our N/A versions.. LOL.
