I am having some troublel installing the program and getting it to work correctly. When I try to launch EuroFlash V2 it says that there is a runtime error...blah blah blah, and then after that my computer detects 2 viruses???? I cant even open up the program. Any ideas?

Got a response back from Jerry on the software being available for those who already have the cable and previous tune .....
Easiest way to let them connect to your computer is to download and run the TeamViewer QuickSupport Remote Access program. Click on this link to download ...

After you download, run the exe. Call and tell Jerry over the phone the 9 number ID and 4 number password and he will connect remotely and unlock the cable, then load the usb driver for the cable. He can even load the program for those having problems.
The software has been available since the initial release.
You need to call into the shop and have someone here unlock the cable.

Yeah... Actually, as someone who works in I.T. and deals with virus issues all the time?
I'd recommend the person with the problems download a copy of "Malware Bytes" (available at Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download), but before actually running it, try booting their Windows PC in "Safe Mode" by pressing the F8 key when the machine is first powering on, before the first Windows "logo screen" appears.
It should give a menu of options including one to start in Safe Mode. (On a Windows 7 machine, I believe it's under an "Advanced boot options" selection you have to pick first.)
By running in Safe Mode, you tell Windows to only load the most basic set of drivers and things as it needs to run, vs. loading everything it normally has in its various files telling it what to run when it boots. This helps keep some virus and malware code from starting up, so it can't try to evade the scanner. THEN run Malware Bytes and do a "full scan" of at least your C: drive. Anything bad it finds, it lists in red print as it goes. When done, select ALL the stuff it found to remove and click the remove button.
That's usually the most effective way to get junk out of your machine, even if it already slipped past whatever regular antivirus program you normally run.

So, here we go again!
1) I attempted Fast Flash, and automatically got an error, "contact your person... blah blah blah...."
2) so then i attempted Slow Flash, and around 60% or so, it said USB error and stopped...
3) i tried slow flash again and it said the car was in recovery mode and i needed to flash back to stock to recover the ECU.so i did that, and it was successful flash back to stock.
4) i repeated step 2.... same thing happens... and had to to step 3 again.
5) tried step 2 a third time... same thing happens... and had to to step 3 again.
The "USB error" only occurs when flashign performance tune, not when i flashing from recovery mode back to stock.
The percentage the "USB error" occurs varies. once it happens at 5%, and the other time it happens at 60%.
So now my car is still stock, and i had to recover it 3 times back to stock.
For whatever reason, it won't flash the performance tune.
Maybe i need to try fast tune again....?

A couple of others were getting the same warning just trying to visit the site. I just clicked on the link and get the download. May be because I'm using Firefox, not Chrome.

I was able to get mine to work eventually, but never had issues with recovering the ECU, only flashing to performance tune.
I really didn't get into trouble shooting a whole lot.
The only difference i can think of when it failed, compared to when I got it to work this morning, was having a battery charger hooked up.

Any chance of borrowing a buddies notebook? That virus thing you had going makes me wonder if it's not the root of the problem.

No way! This motor isn't detuned in anyway. IT came from AMG at 349 hp. NOT 330 as listed. 19 hp was a lie because Daimler didn't want it competing with their MB brother. I didn't gain that in a tune with a cold air intake... It's his money if he wants to waste it. The tune is the last thing you do after you have installed all the aftermarket products. I never understand all the retuning that goes on. Plot your course, get it installed and then bring it all together with a tune. Had the new pulleys not come along, I would never have needed a new tune...
