Mine was actually shaking the car! Now I think I need to check for a chipped blade or something. 100 degree days she never hit RPM's like that.. LOL.

That was fun. Now we need a group discount for tires. We better get MrMiatia's magic on it.

I had the cable and remote tune last year so I need to contact Euro and pay for a drive and case in order to get this software?

Also with the fan, Adam told me during the remote tune that it would turn on and not to worry, it shut off after a few seconds. Is the fan running a really long time now and need sto be unplugged?

Anyone done data logging with Zeitronix and used that data to do your own custom tune with this software yet?

Well i can vouch for the fan staying on for more than a few seconds because i was running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find dikes to cut the zip tie so i could inplug the fan... it was probably a good minute! As for the tune i would say call them, i think they open at 9.

I know I will get flamed for this but here goes...Does this tune effect MPG? I know some tunes increase gas milage. Any ideas on this one? Also where is the factory tune stored once you install the new one? Is it on the computer or on the removable drive. My computer is on its last leg and would hate to lose the factory tune. Thanks

No flames here.. lol.
Some have reported improved MPG. Not worried about it myself.. figure it is what it is and I'm not selling because I don't get xx mpg.

And you get emailed back the flash file that you can store where you want- has stock tune and EC tune imbedded, and the one you send in has a different file extension so you could save it just for grins if you wanted.. and the flash drive would be fine with 512 MB of space. Maybe even a text file of anything else related to flashing your car (fan disconnect or whatever..) for future references

So, here we go again!

1) I attempted Fast Flash, and automatically got an error, "contact your person... blah blah blah...."
2) so then i attempted Slow Flash, and around 60% or so, it said USB error and stopped...
3) i tried slow flash again and it said the car was in recovery mode and i needed to flash back to stock to recover the ECU.so i did that, and it was successful flash back to stock.
4) i repeated step 2.... same thing happens... and had to to step 3 again.
5) tried step 2 a third time... same thing happens... and had to to step 3 again.

The "USB error" only occurs when flashign performance tune, not when i flashing from recovery mode back to stock.

The percentage the "USB error" occurs varies. once it happens at 5%, and the other time it happens at 60%.

So now my car is still stock, and i had to recover it 3 times back to stock.
For whatever reason, it won't flash the performance tune.

Maybe i need to try fast tune again....?
What am i doing wrong this time?

Well mine had it's issues .. resistance to change.. LOL. Sounds like yours is playing the same game.. mine wouldn't take slow flash after a recovery but it was happy with fast. I'd go that route, and if there is still an issue throw out a phone call.

One other thought.. your not getting "new software download" alert are you when starting the program?

Okay, maybe I will try Fast Flash again, since It's been recovered already.
Only tried it the very first time, and have been clicking "no" when asked ever since. So that could be a solution.

Won't get a chance to try again until this weekend, but I'll let everyone know what my results are.

I had the same problem. Make sure you have a battery charger on your car.

Hi I'm new to the forum. I just purchased a crossfire srt. Imm wondering if I should take advantage of sale of ECU upgrade from Eurcharged. Seems to be a little buggy to install. Any input is appreciated.

Out of everyone that has gotten the flash with the new software.. I'd say percentages are low on any minor issues.. nothing like a Windows release.. LOL.

Play now or play later @ 50 bucks more unless you wait for another sale in six months or so.

Jackel unless you are modding your car with a cold air intake or a pulley or changing the parameters of the car in some way I wouldn't waste my money. You would see little gains.

Eurocharged claim 38hp over stock for the SRT with no mods. That's better than 10% and less than $10 per pony.

Thanks for the input everyone. My brother in law owns a solstice and goes the the dragon a couple of times a year. I always loved the look of the crossfire and he mentioned to me over numerous conversation that the srt has some great specs. I came across my srt on your forum under red dogs thread on nice car under 1930 miles. I pulled the trigger and is being shipped as I write. Never drove in a crossfire but reading all your threads I know that I'm going to be thrilled! Happy to be part of forum

I am still SRT6-stock and I love the Eurocharged tune. Changes throttle tip-in, gear changes, and generally a much more smooth power delivery. See this thread for more details. I won't claim HP/TQ increase since I didnt' get a dyno before and after. Others on the thread may have, which would be more than seat-of-the-pants analysis.
