i heard that crossfire srt6 have the same engine mods as a slk32 amg i am looking for info on steping up the motor with pulleys and ecu need info were to go thanks richard.

 

are on the "MBWorld.org" forum as well? Plenty of info over there as well. Yes, same motor, same mods to get you more HP. I believe the CAI mount a little differently than ours, but pulleys will work. I have a Code 3 pulley 65mm for sale if you are interested. I am moving to a more aggressive pulley set up. Steve, who goes by 32Krazy would be your best source of info if he is looking in, or you could PM him. With the right mods, you can have a 12 second 1/4 mi car. You only really need a single CAI or a great driver in a stock 6 to hit 12s. Heck, I just got a Code3 that needs to be installed and can't wait for the tune. 11s are in sight, and I'm going for it on street tires!

 

go get those 11's Chuk..... it's addicting. Quickrick does a little pro drag racing, so 11's is a little slow for him, but maybe we can get his everyday driver into the 11's...

 

I'm guessing you noticed the difference in response between the two forums. Welcome to this one as well.

Though some feel the single CAI provides as much as the Dual CAI, aesthetically, IMO, the Dual just looks better. Of course, looks = performance, right?

doc your so slow!! with the right mods you have an 11 sec car with nos you have a 10 sec car!! with a yellow spoolbus you have 0 to felony in less than 3 secs!!!

No, I am not slow truckdriver. He doesn't want to put all those mods on. He just wants a little more performance. He is already doing 7's and 8's in his real race car... But a CAI, pulley, and tune will give him what he wants which is mid to low 12's.... Catch up my friend... How's my School Bus... doing....lol

 

well doc the ol bus got her skirt lifted 3/4 " today for a better stance and those slanted tips were tossed in favor of the oem stainless tips! added a fresh 93 oct file for everyday and a sweet 103 race fuel file for the half mile event!! wooo hooo!!!

doc tell your buddy a 181 crank pulley a single cai a set of dr's and a good solid tune will have him running 11's all day long!

 

Right now he is purchasing my Code 3, and sent him to Rob for the CAI... Then the tune... Can't wait to see the Porsche with the new look...
