Sell or trade my SRT-6?
Sell or trade my SRT-6?
Sadly, the economy has gotten the better of me and I can no longer afford to keep my 6. Between driving 120 miles round trip to work daily and two sets of tires per, it just no longer makes good financial sense. Not too mention the miles I'm racking up on her! While I've had no issues with the car, I'm concerned about the cost of repairs as I've recently passed the 125,000 mile mark!
So now I'm looking for something new, economical, and under warranty(read:subcompact With insanely good gas mileage)! But the big question is, should I sell the 6 outright or trade her in? I'd much rather see the car go to an enthusiast, but at the same time, I need to get things done quickly as I've got a lot going on at work and won't be around to show the car to potential buyers for quite some time.
Nothing's ever simple is it!

Re: Sell or trade my SRT-6?
Sorry to hear you're gonna let her go, but you have to do what you have to do. With the mileage on it, they probably won't give you much in trade. Maybe you can see how much they will give you, and come back and try to a get a bit more taking the tax trade-in into consideration.
KBB says $6700 - $8700. Dealers usually go lower. I'm guessing you get $5K - $6K
