You sure you set your trip odo correctly? 400 is ridiculous, unless someone swapped the s/c engine for an NA overnight.

400miles / 15gallon tank = 26.66 mpg , seems normal for the na but not exactly normal for the sc haha good ****

Filled up last night in Michigan and my Ultragauge was reset then. It's now reading 28.9 MPG average.

Wow that's amazing. Your signature says you have the Speedriven and Eurocharged tune as well..I have the Eurocharged, so I'm guessing the Speedriven is the key in your case. I get b/w 19 to a max of 22 if cruising the speed limit on the highway. How does the car respond with that tune?

Eurocharged ECU tune with the Speedriven TCU tune. I think it all has to do with speed. I was limited to between 50 & 60 MPH for the trip that inluded a border crossing that took 20 minutes of bumper to bumper and another hold-up in Grand Bend for 2 kms of B to B traffic due to a "Cell towers hurt our children" protest.
Also had the air on for about 1/3 the trip.

"Cell towers hurt our children" when they fall down on to the little brats noggin.

They complain when they get poor coverage in their area. NIMBY?

Drove back from Woodward and used a whole tank, topped up to nearly full last night and added 44.5 liters in Erin. We were at 75-80 in the US and 120 kph on the 402/401 and slowed down to the speed limit on Hwy #6 and #24. We had long stop and go's both sides of the border.

I always said you were a wuss.

Mine slurped up gas from the full line last night (not quite in actuality) to just above the red line in Erin, from the Marriott with stops at the Home Depot and Bass Pro in the US.

I saw a few cars that I guess were at Woodward by the side of the road broken down and abandoned, that has got to suck big time.

180 and I both filled up with gas together last night after dinner. We live about 1/2 hour apart but took different routes. When I was waiting at the bridge to Canada I played with the navigational settings on my gps and found that the faster route (402 to 401 to hwy 10) was only going to save 10 minutes but the "cowpath" route was shorter. I really have just under half a tank left :

I'm sure this is a newbie question but..how does the TCU differ from the ECU?

LOL....we stopped only once. To look for damage and take a leak. Hit a racoon while I was trying to deal with a work related dilemma (texting while driving) . No damage just a few strands of fur sticking out between the tire bead and rim.

ECU or ECM = engine control module

TCU or TCM = transmission control module

I call BS on that

I had the best distance on a tank of fuel with my car on the way home, from full (with topping up) to below the red spot and on the white line below that I got 308.2miles.

Looks like I will have an expensive trip to the dragon this fall with extra stops along the way.
