Just a point of clarification.

I love my pulley that I purchased from ebay. I have had zero issues with it and it flys. As I stated in an earlier thread I was up against a new Shelby Mustang who went befor I did and he had VERY LITTLE pull on me. I hope everyone gets one of these.

I have same setrup as you except the 2.7 mm more on the pulley I got some Qs, how big of a difference can it be on the dyno? also, any heat issues?

I wish i could tell you how it was on my car however it has spent a total of 2 days on the car as i purchased it june 14th, however was then told a couple days later that the bearings were delayed and wouldnt be in until june 26th. I believe i recieved the pulley a couple days after the 4th of July. Installed it a couple days later and all seemed fine but after about 25 miles i was getting a rubbing/grinding noise as the gap had changed and was too tight. I was told he converted for standard to metric and might have been slightly off causing the plate to be too tight. Pulley came off and went back. I believe it was redelivered this saturday however i have not been home to check, just was told i have a couple packages.

Anyone get around to making or having someone make the bolt that holds the SC pulley on? I know someone mentioned it and would really like to get the proper style on

Too many irons in the fire and haven't been able to test them. With it being something crititcal that holds the pulley on, these will not go out until the same level of testing on my personal vehicle that I did with the pulley happens with the bolt.

How much fuel system is required to run the 62mm pulley?

Can we run the stock injectors at stock pressure without maxing out the duty cycle? Can the fuel pump maintain pressure with the OEM injectors at 100% duty cycle?

I had no problem with the stock C240 pump in my car so I would assume the SRT6 pump would be adequate.

remember rudy the c class has an internal pump which seems to run better than the external pump. the c32 guys run the 185 without any fueling issues but the xfire cars had to get more fuel. swap the sl55 fuel pump in and your problems go away

I took that into account as my fuel pump is only used in the C240/C320 and is not the same as the one used in the C32 which flows better than the SRT6/SLK32.

Yes, I have personally had this happen with a 185 on my SRT6. Need to make sure it's good to go and don't just take a tuner's word for it. AFRs can be perfect on a dyno and then when you hit the strip, be completely off. This pulley by itself won't lean your car out but when you add in an intake and other go fast goodies, that's when things need to be watched closely.

there is always a difference between dyno data and real world data. i suggest you get some equipment in the car if your going to run hard in 3 and 4. just my .02 but i have seen the diff and it can be alarming

Give Rob at NeedsWings a shout. I'm not sure what specials he is running but he has about the best setup around between the ZT-2 and the DashDAQ. Check out NeedsWings.com or send him an email.
