Yours was delivered by UPS, Fubu's was delivered and picked up at the same time by a lovely Swedish blonde, they couldn't do enough for her.

 

I have been emailing them since i first mounted mine and i was the 13th on the list of getting the 1st ec sc. I was one of the first of paying for it when it was released, so I guess that must count for something. Also, i realised the prob sound and sent them pics and movies from day 3. Also, I did have to pay toll, 100 bucks so I feel myself entitled getting it before the locals. I am sure they are handling it as good as they can and we all just need patience. Try bringing down the price on other products now if you feel you waited too long. Maybe a tuning bonus or something.

just installed the EC SC ver. 2 pulley. It looks amazing and the spring seem to be more rigid. So far no dodgy sounds and the performance is fantastic. Together w the DCAI it rocks. Time for a EC tune soon?

Back on topic; the 62mm SC pulley. It looks like the listing on E-Bay has reduced the "buy it now" price from $1,000. to $700.
They have even added a pic. of the blueprint for it, although they have blocked out a few key measurements.

I am keeping an eye on his seller feedback to see what is posted by his "two buyers" of this pulley.......if they exist.

 

If he has sold any then he wouldn't need to reduce the price. He didn't wrote anything about how and where they have tested the product, maybe a dyno or some evidence should be inplace.

 

Not supporting the seller, but he could have reduced the buy-it-now price in response to queries
he got from various forum members (who reported he was willing to drop to this price). It could
be that he came to understand he was over priced, reduced the price and sold a couple of units.
Just an alternative possibility.

 

I agree, put it to the test on a dyno w youtube vid, then it could be interesting. But I would stick to a real deal company such as EC and let the pros do their thang. If this 62mm guy was legit I think he would definitely would have done some research and logged on to this or the benz forum and made some promotions/questions ... Someone should invite the guy to this forum and let him answer all the questions we have.

 

In time, Rudy will give us his scoop on this thing. Until that happens, not many will pull the trigger on this purchase.

the eBay pulley showed up today. Took 2 days to get to Dayton Ohio but took him 4 days to ship it to me. My ec pulley should be back tomorrow and I will try to post some pictures if I can find the power cord to my camera.

 

Very cool, you will have both a 62mm & 65mm SC pulley. Looking forward to both yours and Rudy's results with the new Karmen pulley. What are your plans for these two?

Just got home from work. Yesterday I WA busy with my fence project so I did not have any time to "play" with the new pulley or look for the camera power cord. I will go out to the barn in a few and get my micrometer and do some measuring. I am scheduled to get a tune with EC a week from today. I did think that the eBay pulley looked as if it was built well. By that I mean that I could not pull the pulley from the backing plate by had as I could with the original EC pulley and the rivets seemed to be punched in the center and not cocked. I am wanting to install this new pulley for the tune next week but have concerns about running lean and needing more cooling. Any thoughts from anyone on those issues? If the 62mm works I will be selling my 65 and my 178 both have never been used. Just a coincidence that I have ended up with 3 new pulleys in a weeks time. But stranger things have happened.

The pulley is 2.423in from the top of the groves where the belt rides. Keep in mind I have never been a machinist and my micrometer is quite old so be that what it is. Actually my wife who was a machinist many years ago took the measurement for me as well

 

With an online converter that shows it to be 61.54mm
