Default Newbie question

New to SRT6. Rely on FSS for oil changes, etc. or is there a better way? I would appreciate opinions and ideas on this. Thanks.

The FSS is pretty accurate. You could just write down your mileage when you change the oil.

you will get all kinds of opinions on this one. I personally change mine every 7K since most use the recommended Mobil 1. Doing an oil change right now, as she is draining while I kill some time....lol

Oil is a personal Thing. I use oil approved by me. Mobil one 5w-40 Turbo diesel truck oil. It still has ZDDP. I change it after it fails my inspection. My warranty is provided by me. That's my opinion. I go by the book on nothing. . I nurtured this one 30 years. gary Put your car in the hands of a mechanic you trust. I did.

I change the oil every 3,000 miles or so, oils cheap so why stretch it.

I use the FSS, Mercedes most likely knows what they are doing, but I don't go over a year regardless.
