The IC pump is out. The SC works when the car is cold then quits when it warms up. I reseated the temp sensor but that didn't do anything.

I ordered a Bosch IC pump (oem design) from needswings. The original one lasted 10k miles. Hopefully this one will last longer.

The catch can still needs to be installed. That looks like a pita. I don't know how I'm going to get that hose in the back off. I'll pick a saturday and try to get them both done.

Catch can isn't that bad...just take your time and follow the directions. IC pump is a little more work. If you remove the front bumper cover, everything is right there in front of you for the pump replacement, but it can be done without doing that.

Remove the front cover??? Do not like the sound of that.
The instructions say to go through the RF wheel well.

Do you know what the wiring adaptor is for? Does it need to be soldered in?

Brian, lets talk on Saturday, and I'll run you through it, or you can call round to my place sometime, and I'll help you. It's really no big deal, and can be done throughthe access hole in the fender liner. The fact you have an OEM pump makes it easier ........... :O)

Is it ok to drive the car with the pump not working?

You can go thru the fender, I took the bumper cover off, to clean the front of the car, and the pump is just more exposed. It's not a big deal to take the bumper cover off either. I have done both cars more than once, and it is easier to work on things...
