its not all that hard to make good headers.mimic the $4000 ones out there for mercedes.youll allmost allways be paying 80 -90% in RD and name.what kinga primaries 1.5 1 5/8 1 3/4?should see bout 5 -15 with any decent set but the main part will be getting high flow or all flow to integrate with youre tune,or should i say retune.you should lose bout 20 lbs and need the o2 sensor bout the same spot, not to have to needlessly lengthen.

those arent anyway near equal length headers. your going to run leaner on 1 side of the engine opver the other. power will suffer. but if you can do it so easy i have 600$ waiting for the first set that makes 3 hp per cylinder

Squeezing any kind of decent headers into the engine bay on these cars is a challenge at best. Everyone seems hell-bent on making them fit the factory header-back exhaust, which seems to be incompatible with a decent set of headers.

The rest of the exhaust is easy, I know, I custom-made one this winter. I'd love to see someone find a way to squeeze in a decent set of long-tube headers, actual 3-into-1s with 3" [or better] collectors, and maybe, just maybe, equal-length tubes. If we could get really good headers, any exhaust shop (or hillbilly like me with a welder) could custom-fit the rest of the exhaust to mate up to the headers easily enough.
