Hey all,

I'm looking at purchasing an SRT-6 roadster and I came across one, but it seems odd that it doesn't have factory fog lamps. From what I have gathered, fog lamps were standard on the SRT. Am I correct in that statement? I haven't run a Carfax yet, but I'm concerned it may have had a front bumper incident. Any input would be appreciated.

Yes, fog lamps. If no fog lamps what does it have, just blanks in the holes like a base model na?

 

Yes they are standard on all except Base models. Maybe they got damaged and they replaced them with the base covers? Check to see if its an actual SRT bumper, it will have an extra front lip that the non-SRTs dont have. If not, its likely it was replaced with a base model bumper

 

Does it say SRT? On the dash? On the Seats? Under the Hood? Does it have a super charger? You can do a VIN check to see what it was actually manufactured as. If not, and it has SRT6 Wheels, it's one of those special editions which is like a base but with a few upgrades.

 

Yes, it is SRT everywhere else (supercharger et al.) The front fascia does have the SRT lower air dam, but it has covers where the fog lamps would be (like the base). Another oddity is the front bumper has a black mesh insert below the Chrysler emblem rather than the chrome/plastic horizontal strakes.

Sounds like a prime candidate for some LED driving lights.. One of mine ever gets wasted thats where I'm looking to go.. Just don't see the price of them puppies!
