First test and tune of the season
First test and tune of the season
So I went out to Zmax today. Last season I was stock and my best was 13.2 @ 106 with a 2.0s 60' time. I was on pump gas and Sumitomo's then. This season I have the EC pulley and tune and dyno 306whp (which still seems low to me compared to stock). I'm still on pump gas and running Hankook Ventus V12's. Here's the three passes I didn't butcher.
Pass #1
R/T: .221
60': 1.996
1/4: 12.826
Trap: 110.72
Pass #2
R/T: .201
60': 1.936
1/4: 12.720
Trap: 110.53
Pass #3
R/T: .190
60': 1.949
1/4: 12.773
Trap: 110.29
My 60's times are still a little low it seems. Likely due to me preloading and spinning a bit too much off the line. I was hoping to hit 12.6 today, but so far I can't complain at a half second off my E/T.

Wow, that's pretty fast for a XF. Good job. I would like to see you run sometime. You are near Nashville, right?

Thanks, I'm in Charlotte. So close to Squirrelcrusher that I ran into him the other day

Re: First test and tune of the season
I ran your exact set up all winter. I just put the Needs Wings intake back on ,and it feels quicker. Both at low and high rpm. I run the stock intake in the winter as the filter in the grill gets real dirty with all the crap on the roads. I would think the nw is good for .2 in the 1/4 mile.
