Do it, you may end up with two, halves that is.

180 is right. There's not enough meat left in the middle of the pulley to go any further. I begged Eurocharged to do it, but there wasn't enough metal in there.

So I *think I follow Will taking 5mm off the stock SC pulley leave at least 66mm and be in the safe zone for the meat in the center of the pulley? If so, what kind of boost increase is this? Dang CA 91 ocatane crap anyway

Sorry, I can't remember the minimum diameter that Eurocharged figured out...

and I can't find the thread where it was heavily discussed either. Hmm...

I think possibly there are dimensions wrong in some of those posts according to the bearing sizes I have, which give the bearing OD as 55mm. The pulley diameter that goes over the SC shaft is smaller than the bearing OD and gives the shoulder for the bearing to sit against.
Maybe I picked up the wrong bearing size from somewhere.

I'm still wrestling with the decision to either have my spare pulley safely machined to 68 or 69mm or go slightly larger so that I can keep the option of adding a 178 crank pulley later on. Definately don't want to have to change fuel/pump/injectors/rail etc.?

thats the road your heading down. inc the boost and you have to compensate . the fuel issues were present whe grip started this endeavor and the ttm injectors w/ the sl55 fuel pump fixed it. now its a matter of tuning the excess fuel out and keeping the fuel were he needs it.
last week at the track he saw 25 psi boost and was still running pig rich!
