I'm interested in buying a car from Germany which has been imported from USA. I have the VIN number and would appreciate help from someone who could check the VIN number in carfax database.

You can go to carfax.com, enter that vin and see that the vehicle has 17 history records. To see the details of those records you need to buy the report.

I doubt anyone here is going to do that for you. But you never know, I guess.

Just created an account at www.carfax.com but when I try to log in it says that the mail address is wrong. Hmmm, strange that you can pay while using a correct mail address but when you try to logon then you are not a recognized user,

 

Are you sure you didn't put a typo in your email address when you bought your report?

After buying the report, you should have received an email explaining how to access the report/generate one. If you didn't get this email, you likely put a typo in your email address or maybe things are a little slow and it has not been sent out yet.
