Default Smiling

Well, I finally did it. I bought the 05 SRT-6 this morning. I was able to sell one of my other cars and scratch together the rest to buy this beautiful blue car. I want to thank everyone who commented on my first post a few weeks ago that helped reassure me about this purchase. It is a blast to drive and I've always loved the looks of the xfire. I am still not sure about the wheels, but that is what it came with. For the price I guess I cannot complain. I will look forward to being a member of this forum.

Congrats from another Aero Blue owner! It's a beautiful coupe and you will enjoy every minute of owning it. I like the wheels by the way.

Welcome to the club!

Welcome, if your smiling i'm guessing that you have found the switch button at the bottom of the throttle. It's my favorite!

Congrats! The wheels are unique and they wouldn't bother me until I bought the ones that I wanted next.

Panda Bear ≠ Pedo-Bear

It was Pedo-Bear in a Darth Vader costume. As if Pedo-Bear wasn't far enough into the dark side

I was wondering when you would notice

You're looking at my next emblem for my car, with andrew's help...

It's a lovely incorporation of the heritage of the SRT, without making you start your period about "AMG" being adorned on our cars that have all the AMG naughty bits underneath.

Nick, didn't you know John has started an exclusive club and that is the insignia. Entry by Crossfire vin #. You could try to get in ....but I think the answer is sorry bud. You may have this insignia some where on your car as it is a Diamiler/Chrysler It Is Not A Crossfire!

I'll give John a fresh $20 bill if he can find some OEM part for that (John's SRT-6) car with that crest on it

Seriously though, I'm not keen on exterior AMG badging... for the same reasons you're not. BUT, this emblem is something only the purists are familiar with, and the "AMG" is removed to protect the innocent. In fact, it's replaced with an even sexier emblem.

Enough of the tosser talk, we gotta grab a cigar again soon.

Well, if you really wanna get mad, there are over a dozen OEM parts I've found on the car that actually have "////AMG" on it... which should offend you even more than the crest.

But personally, I'd rather race you for the $20.

Can I get in on that? I'd love a set if Andrew is going to be making them. I was trying to get a set from Karl, but he is AWOL. Hope he's all right. I was perfectly O.K. w/ my Andrew AMG set until you guys started talking smack about them, lol. Black & White? I just can't have the washed out looking OEM badges.

EDIT: To the OP, sorry for jacking your thread and Congrat.'s on your new AeroBlue, it's a beauty! Welcome to a great Forum.
