not the s/c bearings (which do go out) but the small idler pulley you moved lower. notorious for failing. as i said i replaced 3 in a single yr on a engine with 36k on it at the time

not knocking your setup at all. a suggestion is replace the oem idler you moved with a 90 mm napa pulley. go to 100 mm if you cant find the 90. the oem tiny pulley sucks eggs and i replaced 3 within a yr.
Steve do you happen to have a number on the 90 Napa pulley ?
