Drafted as a daily driver ... my take and my wifes
(For the uninformed, my SRT-6 is modified and set up for solo 1)
My combat car is in the shop. (300C) Darned air stopped working on the way to my new year's get away so we sweated all the way, except the mountain parts, to our destination and back. So it's in the shop for a week (no parts inventory in P.R. and friday and monday are holidays here) so the SRT-6 is now doing daily duty. The car is going to work, to the dry cleaners, the supermarket, the bank, to restaurants, well you name it. I'm real pleased but the one I love isn't smitten. She had to switch to a lighter hand bag. She couldn't get out of the car with her normal life organizer hand bag. Getting out is possible without the extra weight. Curiously, her legs are looking more muscular. My windshield protested and cracked. 2 years shrugging off rocks and boulders and a few days in the sun craaaaaaackkkkk. The air works great! Better than my other cars and can handle the tropical heat with ease. The car drives nice when I drive it nice. Amazing. Driving slowly in the SRT, what a concept, is not bad. Summing up my wife's point of view. Too low, she falls into the seat, too stiff ..... and why do you have that crack? My point of view, the car feels better over 100 and with the tires squealing but can be as civil as it's driven. I find it easier to drive sanely than the 300C. Calming. While I'm impressed with it's manners, it's a much better man toy/race car than dry cleaning picker upper. I'll be daily driving the SRT until at least Tuesday so I'm going to adjust the air pressures and shocks for the street tomorrow. Stay tuned.
