minus 1 srt6
Re: minus 1 srt6
Hmmm .... First of all glad you are OK. Secondly ..... is it possible that you may have had a heavy style, after market, snow/slush mat on the floor, that may have slipped over the gas pedal and got depressed when applying the brake? Just askin, because I have had an experience like this, but fortunately didn't have an accident. Just scared the poop out of me.........

You will find out you can't and will come to a stop and the gas pedal does nothing until you release the brake.
It doesn't take much braking to kill the throttle.

The more I.find out the more I will post. And no drugs nor alcohol wasn't involved just plain bad luck or a warning to changey life.I can send pic to someone good at posting just give me your email address.sorry guys about the 6
And you're positive you weren't mashing the gas rather than the brake in all the confusion?

Another one bites the dust!
Re: minus 1 srt6
Pepper, I've been in two 'head ons' in the last 25 years and something that happened both times is some kind of adrenalin overload that takes everything to hyperspeed! It's like your brain has already calculated that you are gonna crash and 2.5 seconds takes 2.5 minutes yet everything is moving 2.5 times as fast!!??. It is a WEIRD feeling but I've been there too. Glad you are relatively fine What I am having a hard time figureing out is how the heck a 6'6" guy *fit* into a Crossfire
Re: minus 1 srt6
My crossfire had the almost the same amount of legroom that my svx has seat just doesnt recline as far I got used to the car it was very comfortable.Geico is taking the car to a yard in Clayton NC.The payoff was a about 200 less than the 16k i paid so it a car that has great value.I found 4 bone stock srt6s already on yahoo autos a few in south carolina and all mileage under 60k except one with 73k all about 16k and one diamond in maryland with 29k miles I serious want this car its black also but a hardtop it goes for 18 thousand its bone stock. But I will wait until I figure I deserved to have another 6 .
