Is it 550cc flow at 3 bars PSI? The rest is a little confusing. The 1130780123 is an updated OEM injector. Don't they also have a dual spray pattern and the oem clips?

No, the 550cc is at 55 psi. At 3-bar it's more like 480cc/min (stock is like 410cc at 3bar)

Interesting. From I know, the new OEM injectors (MB# 1130780123 and Bosch# 0280156304) are rated at 542 at 55PSI and 482 at 43.5PSI (3 bars).

Any update on how you have made out with the injector install and retune ??

I sold the mid pulley and I'm having a new pulley machined this week. I really want to stick with my original plan of running 22psi (not 23). After the pulley is completed and installed, I'll get a retune to see if the stock injectors and SL55 fuel pump will keep up.

If I'm still lean at that point, I plan to install a larger fuel pump. I really don't want to install larger injectors if I can help it.

I take it that the new pulley will be turned down slightly less than the first one?

Good luck.

Yes. My math (which is usually wrong) showed that .6PSI was achieved per MM, so I'm going with 3.33MM this time around.

5MM = 3 psi
1MM = .6 psi
3.33MM = 2 psi

I finally got the 2psi (-3.33MM) pulley back from the machine shop (Bullard). This time they only charged me $140, since they are making quick work of it now.

I bolted it on and drove a few miles today to make sure it was engaging properly and not making any noise. The power is great and my new tires are getting it to the ground without excessive spin.

Tomorrow, barring a rainstorm (which is in the forecast), I'll datalog 2nd, then 3rd gear to see where the timing, fuel, and IAT's are.

After that I'll get a retune if I'm lean up top.

I should know this but, what intercooler pump do you have? My additional heat exchanger experiment isn't working out but I have the stock weak-a@@ pump. The knock on higher boost has always been the extra heat, as you know. Do you have the thermal coated I/C? I WANT ONE! I'm taking notes in case you didn't notice.

I'm running the CM30. As for the I/C, it isn't wrapped yet, but that's on the list.

I still have them, I just don't plan on installing them unless absolutely necessary.

Les , I am running a 2 1/2 year old stock pump,, I am also going to put an open vent(open all the time ) on my heat exchanger system, Open all the time so there is "0" pressure. jim

And I thought I was first!? Been stacked for over 3 years now.

Of course there was that one little incident! (see towards bottom of thread)

I'm definitely not the first with a stacked setup, but I suspect I might one of a few hitting 22/23psi at sea level.

I'm back to running lean. If a retune does't correct it, I'll have some hard decisions to make.

adj fuel press regulator, larger fuel filter w/ built in regulator, bigger fuel pump, looped fuel line, injectors all coupled with retunes come to mind

Oh good, lots of options to still explore. Will be interesting to see what works.
