Crossfire SRT6 Value Check
Crossfire SRT6 Value Check
After having my crossfire srt6 for over 4.5 years now, I am forced to sell it as I will be living overseas for the next 3 years, have no where to store it meaning it would cost around $75 to $125 to store it per month and with the value going down, it's best I sell it and buy one if I want one again in the future when I comeback.
My crossfire needs some minor repairs up to the value of $1,000.
It's currently in good condition with 21k miles on it, black, no major repairs done to it, no accidents, and no upgrades done to it.
Based off what you heard, what should I be looking for? The first Chrysler dealer offered 10k now, 12.5k in the Spring because the car is currently in Michigan where this is probably one of the worst times to sell it. I need to sell this quickly before snow starts coming.

Wow, I am trying to steal this guy's car, and you two show up....lol.......I would finance it, if I could buy it for 10K if need be...lol.... Mike, you know why DJ doesn't like black, right?
OK, truthfully, I missed it was an SRT6....getting old I guess, I have my glasses on now....

What repairs does it need and where are you? May be interested. Email me at jjaiven@chartermi.net. If you are in the Detroit area, I'll be in Ann Arbor the Sunday after T-day.
PS-Sorry you feel the need to sell. I would offer to store it for you, but if I had the room I would have a 3rd Crossfire by now.

Re: Crossfire SRT6 Value Check
Hello,
I can't ship the car because I am shipping to the Philippines. Under Philippines Law, a car cannot be shipped unless you're a citizen of the country and have owned the car for 6 months. They then base the car off the Kelly Blue Book Value and charge a 70% to 200% tax on the cars current value.
Basically, if you don't have a deal with the Government on shipping cars in and out, it's not worth it for you to ship it there when you can just ask a company to buy you a new one.
The car is currently in Grand Rapids, MI. As I said, I declined the quote for 10k from a dealership to sell it now as they offered 12.5k to buy it in Spring. This is only one dealer we have gone to and we haven't counter offered.
As stated, the repairs include tires (strangely I don't know why) and rotors. They don't have to be fixed but it's the only thing that may need repairs.
Wish I could keep it, going to end up selling for much less, but my friend is currently selling it for me while I am overseas.

Hello if you haven't sold your car I offer you $14000.00 and will fly out there this weekend to look at it. Where are you located? please contact donjuan4212@gmail.com. I currently have a 05 light blue/silver srt6 with all needswings mods single cai, 178mm w.psk, custom manifolds, intercooler, and iso-kit. It is my daily driver. I would like to turn my current srt in my race car and buy this one for my daily driver. It will be cared for.

I watched Barrett Jackson last night and saw a Nash Metropolitan sell at $40,000. A BMW Isetta cabin scooter went for $25,000. My SRT6 black Roadster is now worth $80, 000. . Glad I bought mine when I could afford it.. Gary

Re: Crossfire SRT6 Value Check
Just blows me away that these cars are going for so little. I feel like a stooge paying $15k for my car with 50k miles on it, but i looked for months and the only nice low miles car I could find within reasonable distance was 37k on the clock and they wanted $21k for it. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place, but oh well.
I love my car and it just came out of the body shop and has a freshly painted nose and not a chip anywhere else on it plus a two-stage buff that came out flawless. Black cars as so tricky that way. Not a swirl mark in it anywhere. Now all I have to do is smooth out some minor curb rash on my rims and have them powder coated. Eventually this car will get all the goodies. It just gets expensive with multiple cars.

Re: Crossfire SRT6 Value Check
if you can afford it, give these cars some time. i've owned over 50 cars in my mid-life time and these were the all time bargains for me. i love everything about them. even the cupholder can be repurposed. the hatchback holds everything from my work gear to trips to lowe's (just don't use the wing as the hatch lifter/lowerer). i still pinch myself that 3-4 years later, i have two low mileage srt-6's sitting next to each other in the garage. they've even "aged" well in the hyper-restyle climate of the major mfrs. i bought them new, so never any complaints. of course, kudos to squirrel crusher.
