Bosch Intercooler Fluid Pump

Buy this, install it. Your supercharger intercooler pump is dead, so your supercharger will engage until the intake temps get high because the air-to-water intercooler has no water flowing through it - then, the ECU prevents your supercharger from engaging.

No harm has been done to your car and it'll just be underpowered until you replace the pump, so the only rush is to get yourself driving at a real speed again

People also install a "Johnson CM30" pump which can be found online. Search the forum for "intercooler pump."

Never used the search before have you?

Search for supercharger cooling pump, or intercooler pump.

Fred, have you not paid any attention to us on here at all? Shame on you. Your inner cooler pump has quit working for you. You need a new one. www.needswings.com can supply you with a new one. Or, if you have warranty left, you will have to explain it to the service writer, because he/she will not have a clue what is wrong. I am sure others will follow with even more explanations...

Yo Fred. Stop being so fast and slow down long enough to visit and READ the forum!

As others have already mentioned this is a VERY common problem.

Spend some time with us and you will be able to go down to the Dodge dealer and teach them things about your car that they know nothing about!

Now change out that pump! Easy job for you to do.

Don't forget to check the easy thing first, the fuse.... Mine was blown and I jumped to the pump and figured it out after installing the new pump.

The pump circulates coolant through the intercooler and heat exchanger to lower your air intake temps.
When it goes out the coolant doesn't circulate and thus doesn't get cool. The supercharger will cut out to protect the engine and restart once the coolant temp cools down again.

Pump is located behind the passengers front wheel well. There's a how to somewhere here and I'm going to give you a chance to excell and find it yourself!
The Bosch works just fine but a lot of us have gone to the Johnson for added protection and to feel good about ourselves!

Here's a picture showing the pump. It's that snail shell looking thingy on the left!

Eurocharged is your only option for a SC pulley upgrade..... if you want an oversized crank pulley you have more options: Needwings, Eurocharge and ASP. Maybe RennTech too..... sizes 178mm and 185mm. I dont think anyone is making a 181mm any more.....
