Hey, I was about to do the same exact thing, except i'm getting a monza pace setter y-pipe resonator instead of a glasspack. Just wondering if your car is tolerable at normal driving range (60-70) and if you noticed any power gain at all. thanks

Personally this sounds awful.. especially while being idle...
Full throttle is okay. It only says muffler delete so I guess both cats and resonator is still there. Does he have straight pipes from the resonator or what?

Had the resonator/rearcats deleted and mufflers replaced w/magnaflows......So much drone, I couldn't hear the radio at full volume. So I took it all off and went back to stock....Seat of Pants: I can't tell any difference, except I can drive it now without yelling at my passenger....So if anyone needs a nearly new set of magnaflows/ w stock tips.........pm me

you guys scare the hell out of me.... I have read these muffler threads for 4 years with people coming and going, and I don't think I will ever get off running stock pipes. I have my own idea and will try it...but I'm thinking stock is stock for now...I have an extra set of tips, a couple of cherry bomb H pattern mufflers. I am replacing the H pipe with the one H muffler, removing the resonator, and using the other H muffler to replace the stock muffler. These are glass pack H mufflers.... I did this on my son's Mitzi....because of lack of funds on his part...and loved the sound...no drone at all ....I won't be so lucky with the 6 I am sure...lol...it will be dual from the former H pipe back to the rear muffler...so not a true full dual system...I am not in a hurry to do this as I have a lot of other things to do 1st, but it's out there....lol
