I am thinking of buying a white SLK for the missus. Would you say it's about the same car?

I put the pulley on this morning. It will need the shims that I have already ordered they just aren't here yet.It would just barely rub the s/c clutch when I spun it by hand. At least I know how to do the install now. Its easy to do the only hard part is removing the bolt for the pulley. An extra set of hands is needed to hold the clutch while turning the bolt. I did use a strap wrench it worked pretty good. The tolerances on the pulley are very exact its a tight fit. The E10 and E 12 will do everything no need for the E11 torx.

A gear puller would get it off, a block of wood and a hammer should get it on. You could try heating up the snout with a propane torch, if you have one, to get it to slide on easier. My stock pulley and Code3 slide on with minimal effort. I wonder what's going on with yours. Whatever you do, do it with patience and calmness so you don't regret it later.
