I am still having issues with the metal plate on the pulley not staying flat causing an odd rubbing noise. Until that is resolved, I won't be driving it too hard.

From what I've read on here, 280whp is on the low end, 290 is about average and 300 is on the higher end. I could be wrong, but know 290whp was mentioned. Also using the 20% drivetrain loss typical of automatics, 360whp would be 450bhp, if I did the math correct (360 is 80% of 450).

My guesstimate was based on it being around 340whp, which is possible assuming about 50whp gain from the pulley and tune on a 290whp car, which gives 425bhp. This may be more or less due to slight engine variances. I just said 427 because I like that number.

have you run the car too see if she straightens out? Also, check the shaft for contaminants when installing.

I have put about ten miles on the car and did clean the crud off the shaft.

With Jerry's help, the pulley issues have been resolved. I drove around town today with great confidence. All I can say is WOW! I get the tune tomorrow which should make it a double WOW.

Glad you figured it out...they aren't perfectly flat. You just have to shim to the correct fitment, and use it...tune will bring her home...then...hang on..your low end will be really noticeable, but after the tune, she should pull even harder on the higher end...good luck...

Hehe, I've been having extended perma-grin for two months now. This is just icing on the cake.

Too true too true you had 1 pasted at the last GTG in Garden of the Gods run......amazing what a little S/C does to these cars. Now it is really awake with the new pulley and the tune will amaze you again......I am sure there is a law against this much fun ......but ignorance is BLISS!!!

One additional mod I will need is a decent set of rear tires. The Hankook's that are on there now just can't handle it. Or is this just a common occurrence with SRT-6s?

Common from what I read with the mods you have. A set of street slicks like the MT et's are street legal and grab like nobodys business. Of course you could always get an extra set of rims and keep the other pair of tires on them.

My V12's are about three weeks old and will spin to about 50 or so if I let them. I still think it's the car though, they had slightly more grip than my Sumitomos.

Awesome and Jerry's Da Man! I never floor it in 1st gear on the street until maybe 20 mph. I save all my flooring at the track which I will be hitting up again tonight.
