The SRT repair manual in the Documentation section does an ok job explaining it. The manual says you need a gear pulled to get the old support bearing off and a press to put the new one on.

I am also curious if anyone has tips/tricks for this, as I will be changing mine soon also.

I have not messed with the driveshaft on the Crossfire yet. But on many other vehicles, I remove the entire driveline, load it up in the car and take it to a drive-line shop. We have a local shop that I trust to do a great job at a reasonable price.

As stated above, check out the documentation. Good luck.

remove catback
remove heat sheild
disconnect driveshaft at differential (3 bolts)
unbolt support brace
slide out drieshaft
swap support/bearing on the bench with the help of a vice to hold it while you slide off the old setup and slide on the new one.

Did you ever get around to doing this? I'll be tackling mine in a few weeks when I get back into town.

I keep reading the service manual and it talks about supporting the transmission and removing the trans mount brace and then the front flex disk to flange bolts... I didn't see that in Rob's post.
