I have built exhausts before for this car and yes they do produce some drone, but these sound so good from any range in the rpm that I decided to build a couple of different style mufflers with silencers that are removable and pre made configured 3in straight pipe made from ss and a custom y pipe. These will be for sale after I come up with some numbers from the dyno! Im thinking 450 plus shipping is going to be the set price for this exhaust which will include custom one off muffler and straight pipe! I can have them flanged for bolt up configuration or you can have them welded on...up to you. I have no dyno sheets as of today but will be getting them into the dyno this week. But I wanted to post to see if anyone out there would be interested in some one off work from me. I will have pics of the y pipe and 3 inch straight pipe when those come back from chrome~! Obviously if you would like to purchase this exhaust in complete chrome the cost will be extra. Im only making a limited batch as these are made from scratch by me~! Let me know what you guys think~! If no interest no problem my feelings will not be hurt....this is just an idea for those who may want something different

What material is that, 304? It looks like a nice setup. You might have just made me hack up my stock exhaust and sell my magnaflow catback lol.

probably loose packing material and crap sound for $40>>2.5 inlet and 3.5 out and no y pipe nor a 3 inch straight pipe under axel!! Go to a muffler shop and see what they charge you to do the bends with ss304 material and y pipe.... ....my muffler is a 3 inch inlet with dual 4 inch dia out with custom tight packing!!! and comes with y pipe and straight pipe pre bent and ready install all ss 304 material for $450~! ! A little different my young friend!

THIS MUFFLER REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION AND MODIFICATION. You need to cut off your original muffler and weld on the new muffler. Please measure the diameter of your piping before purchasing, it can't be too off from 2.5". If you have a turbo or V6 vehicle and your piping is 3", we carry mufflers with 3" inlet.



Things that make you go HMMMMM!!!!

 

mine was mocked after a couple of different mufflers but shortened and widened...when you take down the welds that is what you get a soft weld look! you cant go to far down as you don't have much weld to begin with, but mine has a 3 inch inlet and not 2.5 and my outlet is 4 inch vs the online 3.5. the length is 18.5 inches end to end and measures 11.25 width...I guess I could have been a little more original but I liked it and so I made it my own in the size that we need....and the wall or body case is at .030 within my own custom preforated piping inside that I built 100%, I get my tips supplied by True performance...I get my packing fibers from the same company that yoshimura does....all my bracket material which is mounting the two pipe together is bought from Fr sport pre made in santa ana ca. This is 2 of three I have made....welds all have been done by me. Chrome over stainless done by south bay chrome, and the polished one on my car is done by the same....all my stainless sheet metal is bought through Precision Metals Los Angeles and pipe from Premier Metals in buena park. My welding supplies harbor freight! Either way if I forgot something let me know and will answer.

that was completed last month and is my dual set up now....no real power gains over the straight pipe with y pipe set up, but sounds like more of a high end euro car

 

A sound clip would be nice.

 

i may be young.... but it's still an ebay muffler your tryin to pass as your own, maybe you should "Fabricate" one like the others they have for sale on that ebay store so we can have more to choose from!

I like this because it really is a dual muffler design which makes it possible to have a true dual exhaust.

 

The muffler he is showing is a one into two muffler setup. Just exactly what Ebay is selling. Many here have them. And they have the reported drone he says he has. Then he shows two into one "X pipe design" that goes back into two pipes. Then spread out at both ends??? How the flip does that set of pipes attach to "your" mufflers? You realize that selling something that you didn't make then claim as your own is illegal, right? Better hope there isn't patent on that brand. Cause it's a ringer.

People, be reasonable. Buy an Ansa muffler and a U bend pipe. Have your muffler guy put it on. Then there's no drone, and you can go back to stock if you like. Though I can't imagine that happening.
