Default Some noises that I'm curious about...

Hi all,

So ive been getting used to some of the "normal" noises the car makes (loud injectors, etc). There are still 2 that im curious about:

1. Theres a pronounced metallic sounding click i hear when changing gears. Most prominent when i am backing my car up in reverse from park, and again when i put it in drive. I also notice it when i downshift from 2nd to 1st at low speeds. Havent noticed it otherwise, but that doesnt mean it isnt there.

2. When i stop at a traffic light with the car still in drive or autostick 1st, it feels like its still trying to move forward. Now, naturally you can feel a little pull because the car is in gear, but immediately after stopping for around 2-3 seconds it feels stronger, then lets up to "normal". There may be a correlation with the cooling fan being on, but im not sure. It makes a very dull grinding/revving sound while its doing this.

Anyone experience the same sounds? I have an SRT with let tune, for reference.

I noticed this happening to my srt the other day. I was trying to read up before I posted anything. Glad to know I'm not the only one! I have booked mine in for a service at a local mb dealer, hopefully they can shed some light on the situation. Hopefully, all it will take is some fresh trans fluid! Fingers crossed. I will let you know if I have any luck.
