145 -150 mph
Had the SRT on the road yesterday and pushed it to somewhere between 145 and 150mph and it was great.
It's been 6 months since I have travelled over 100mph.
The new tune actually pulled harder than before.
I can't wait to see what it can do top end.
These cars are a rush...

I'd love to get back out there and use the whole field (two miles) in the SRT!

Speed ah yesssssssssssss. Woody
Watch a
Barracuda with a Viper V10 under the hood go up against a Ferrari
Enzo:
LegendaryMotorcar
Company built a Super 'Cuda for SEMA and then decided to find
out what it could do. The car is stuffed with engine and
rubber: A twin-turbo Viper V10 with at least 1,000 horsepower,
along with 345-series, 19-inch tires in back. The only place
they could think of to test it properly was Chrysler's Chelsea
, Michigan proving grounds. For good measure, the folks at LMC
brought a Ferrari Enzo along as well.
Needless
to say, in a straight line drag, the Super 'Cuda owns the
Enzo, but the Enzo prevails in top speed. The green monster
and its turbine howls raced through the air so quickly that
the windshield molding came off ( Chrysler built, you know)
and the hood lifted by three inches. Aero like a
"BRICK"!!

Re: 145 -150 mph
A Supercharged AMX (driven by Craig Breedlove) Ran an official 189 mph back in 1968, and unofficially went over 200 mph. Using a mostly stock suspension.
AMX-perience 1968 AMX
Don't tell Peter Klutt, he doesn't care much for AMC's.
Wasn't there a forum member from Colorado who posted a 185 mph run some time ago?

A group of us here saw that car in person last year at this Car Show :
Steve Plunkett's 2010 Fleetwood Country Cruize In
There are almost 20 Crossfires going into that show this year.
