Have to try and reduce my perma-grin and gotta say something................or Ill bust
Went out to test my car and on a hard start from a stop, without torquing the transmission, just hitting the gas to the floor with my sprint booster off....................
Car screamed and slammed into second gear:
Car screamed and slammed into third gear:
Car screamed and slammed into fourth gear and then I let off of it. This took about 2 seconds, from stopped to fourth gear- I have never seen this kind of response and was stunned. Tires never spun like that and this is warm 65 degrees start with stock size tires in the dry and clean surface................WTH this is amazing, I have never heard of anyone else seeing this kind of power to the wheels and yes both tires were digging and doing their best to move the car.
MUCH more testing is needed but this is crazy quick on my first trial of another pending mod for the car. Goal is better throttle control and bottom end response and some power on the top end too ( autocrossing ).
If this works out and is not a fluke, Ill clean it up and turn it over to Rob for evaluation.
Now the bad part, its too early to release the details and I just wanted to pop up again so that you all know that I have not gone to pasture, you know. Have to go now and get more data down loads from the zeitronix dac dash, that would mean driving it again, oh boy.. Enjoy Woody

2 seconds? Is that an exaggeration?
I mean by the time you do fourth gear you should be doing 100+. I mean hell, I barely shift into 4th gear at the end of the 1/4 mile...
2second 1/4 mile...a NEW RECORD!!!
Just giving you a hard time, always like to see what you are upto Woody. Keep it up

Torque caused so much wheelspin that it power shifted its self first - second - third - and then fourth where I got out of it cause it was spinning both rears EVENLY but going sideways.
Felt like like I was on Ice and no, two seconds is not an : exaggeration I can assure you. Woody

It's like trying to solve a riddle when I read a Waldig Post. I'm guessing this is your TB mod that you're getting close to fruition on? The hints were: "sprint booster turned off", "goal of better throttle response". Sounds like whatever you've done; it's working! And your Phantom grip seems to be holding up to all this torque as well?
Re: Don't read this, you will not like the outcome; yet
I know I've gone all the way through third spinning the wheels and I'm stock. In my case it's the road I was on and the only place I've been able to replicate that. I learned on normal roads or the track my car takes off like one of those silent but deadly farts.

I have an agreement with my wife, one change at a time. I have to test it before I can do another. Sometimes I get some overlap which evokes a comment or two about our agreement. I'm waiting to test my tune (having it done tomorrow) before I buy some stiffer springs.

Fortunately (at least on one level) I dont have to get any agreement on mods....
Now if I just had a real income so I could afford them.... Interview scheduled for Friday morning...
Woody, let me know if there is anything I can help you with on parts...
