Default Walmart Oil

I'm not sure if this is cheap or not, but I bought some Mobil 1 0w-40 today at Walmart for $6.37...I was there buying bulbs for my low beams that seem to keep going out every 2-3 months...I got the Sylvania H7 ultra something???They didn't have Silverstars for my car...I was going to try those out after Montana recommended them... Let me know if you think that was a good deal on the oil

No not really. It's not a terrible price, but it's not great either.

If you hang around the forum you'll see threads about parts stores having discounts making the oil 4-5 dollars a liter. That's when you want to stock up.

$6.37 is a pretty good price per quart. It is usually in the $8.49 range, so I'd say this is a pretty good savings (25%). I will be heading to Walmart to see if I can get the same deal this weekend as I need to change my oil soon too.

Check Advanced Auto Parts, they usually have deals and if you spend a certain amount, most of the times they discount it and will ship it for free or you can pick it up locally, thats if you can wait....

Right now "Farm and Fleet" has it on sale by the case of 6 for @$35. That works out to @ $5.80 or so. So $6.37 isn't too bad .....
