Default I am going to have a meltdown...

So I work graveyards and on my lunch break I went to Del Taco. Well there was this really slow guy checking out my car so I peeled out a little bit. This was in "Summer" mode with traction control "on".

After I peeled out it was like clockwork. My ABS and ESP light's came on immediately and now while in "drive" it feels like it's not shifting at the right rpm, the brakes are weird as hell and it's not even as powerful!

The thing that is even more weird is if I put it into first gear, I have more power than EVER. I can literally roast the tires from a stand still indefinitely.

Does anyone have any idea what happened. I tried shutting the car off. Came back out a few hours later, lights came back on so I turned all the way right, then left then middle. Nothing. Tried it again in the opposite direction and nothing...

I would try disconnecting the battery.

Did your spoiler deploy? Is the spoiler staying up? Is the spoiler light blinking?

I'm in an SRT-6 so there is no spoiler "deploy" or light. It's fixed and always up.

I agree with Robby. Disconnect the battery.

Does this car have any vacuum hoses you could have popped off? In my old SRT-4 that would happen quite often and my brakes would go mush.

Just as an additional $0.02 to what Jake said. To reset the battery take the terminals off the battery for at least 30 minutes before reconnecting them to be sure the ECU cache is cleared and you start fresh...

...just don't forget to remember what radio presets you had as they will be gone

When you say slow... do you you mean slow, or slow? lol

Sorry but that part of your story just made me chuckle. Still does.

So much of the meaning of this is lost when it is written. Frankly, that made it even more hilarious to me. Sorry, man I have been really bad about going OT today in my replies.

Well, I was turning right out of the parking lot and he was headed my intended direction, very slowly... Then I noticed he was actually in the passenger seat almost, looking at my car, swerving towards me a bit...

With that being said, both.
