tranny leakage
tranny leakage
I have had my car for 30 days. Once I got it home the tranny shifting seemed odd. I would pull out of the driveway on cold mornings and the rpms would increase like it downshifted but mushy feeling. 1/4 mile later stopped at a light and when I take off it would feel normal and suddenly the rpms would rise, like the tranny was slipping and then take off normal/solid. Seemed to happen only on cold mornings. Yesterday afternoon 60 degrees putted about 300 yds, stopped at light, and went to take off got about 3 mph and the tach went to 3000 rpm at 3 mph! Glad that tractor trailer was able to stop!!!!!!!!!!
Took it to Gifford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Dealership in Norfolk this morning and they fixed the electrical connector o-ring leak (problem), $295. It now shifts solid as a rock. Also since buying this car I have always looked for leakage on the ground and have never seen any fluid.

Mine started leaking in November -- small drip and then within a week a huge leak. I was lucky and had it in under warranty and caught it early.
Good luck with it. Mine has been fine since replaced. I hope this connector lasts a long time.
