I have the Eibachs in the box and can take a picture if necessary.

Re: Eibach pro Kit SRT 6
I have the Eibach Pro kit and, although they seem a hair longer, the car did drop about an inch and a half. Also the stiffness of the ride did not seem to change much at all. The only problem I have is my front camber is a little off leading to excessive wear on the inside of the tire. I've been told that it is an easy fix, adding a spacer, but I'm not a suspension expert so I'm not sure if it will really be that easy.
Re: Eibach pro Kit SRT 6
Question:
Does the SRT-6 come already lowered from the factory?
I know that on the SLK32, it comes from MB lowered. The height of the SLK32 is the same as a SLK230/320 with the Eibach Pro Kit installed.
Actually, the springs themselves on the SLK32 has both AMG and Eibach logos on them. I noticed this the last time my car was up on the lift at my indy.
I guess my question is, I know the two cars are practically identical under the skin, but does anyone know if the suspension different between the 32 and SRT6? If the two cars use the same springs, then I am wondering if the Eibach Pro Kit will lower my 32 even further?

Re: Eibach pro Kit SRT 6
FYI,
The Eibach pro kit springs are softer than the OEM. They are close to equalling the Crossfire Limited models which are near 50% softer than the SRT's.
Also, to do any suspension modifications properly you must look at the whole geometry of the suspension as well. Camber and castor adjustments are manditory.
There is a very good reason why most suspension modifications worsen the cars handling and most of them stem from doing things half assed.
Manufacturers spend hundreds of hours of R&D to make their cars perform at the highest levels. To think that a inexpensive after market part can make things better than the original is truly wishfull thinking.
If looks are the only thing that you are interested in then yes, lower your car. But if superior handling is what you are after then you either keep the original set up or you go to a professional road race shop and have them do the modifications.
With this level of car, driving enjoyment should be your first priority.
Good luck.
