Default Help...High Pitched Sound

Finally got my SRT-6 Roadster!!!! But a few days ago I noticed a high pitched sound coming from my car. It sounds like its coming from behind the right front headlight. Could anyone help with the diagnosis, before I take it to the dealership??

The only high pitched sound I have is my wife screaming at me to slow down.

I'm not able to pull up youtube currently but I believe your are hearing the bosch pump for the heat exchanger.

I thought it may be the IC pump?

When my IC pump was failing there was no sound involved.
Hopefully others will chime in here.

Same here. I've never seen anyone say it was making a noise when it went out.

What speed do you hear the noise?

You definitely need to give more information. Is it a constant sound? Only under hard acceleration?

I can hear the noise even at idle. At first I thought it was the fuel pump, until I noticed it was coming from the very front of the car. In the youtube clip I am at idle in my garage (which makes it sound even worse!).

It could be the other coolant circulation pump. It's located between the right headlight and radiator. It looks just like the ic pump. It Is for the rest.(Residual engine heat utilization)

The noise is constant, unfortunately.

I usually find odd sounds by putting a small diameter, 3 foot long hose to my ear. Using the other end as a stethoscope. Squirrel Crusher

It does sound more like it could be the alternator or water pump.

I noticed than pump while I was changing out the IC pump. Haven't heard of anyone's going out yet. I guess when it does, the engine will quickly over heat. Squirrel Crusher

If it helps, the sound doesn't happen immediately when I turn on the car. Usually starts after about 30 secs or so.

open your hood and eliminate any chance it's coming from your engine compartment. sounds like a pulley bearing to me.
