Default Hello guys :)

Just wanna say "HI" to everyone here

My name is Nikita , i live in Russian Federation

Bought my SRT-6 a month ago. My previous car was 2002 Lexus RX300 but i decided that i am too young and i need something more fast and head-turning

I really like this car , it looks really cool. Got some ideas about future tuning ans styling, will check this forum for some more...

Got a problem. My engine water pump needs to be replaced, but dealer asks around 1000$ for original Chrysler part. Will a pump from C 32 AMG or SLK 32 AMG fit anyone knows?

Thanks for reading

Welcome to the Crossfire Forum, we have many members from many nations of the world, but you may be the first from the Russian Federation. The answer to the water pump question is simple, do not but from Chrysler, go to the local Mercedes Benz dealership and buy the part, it will be much less expensive. Since Chrysler is no longer part of Mercedes, they must buy the parts from them and increase the price to make a profit.

When you have time, look for the thread for the SRT6 serial number and add yours to the list, since we have over 1550 registered on the list.

Good luck with your repairs and enjoy your new, fast car.

Dennis

Enjoy the ride, and the forum.

Thanks

I got a serial number of original Chrysler part. The thing is, that it costs around 1000$ even in the biggest and almost cheapest one part-shop here, not only dealer. By the way MB dealers and Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealers here are part of one holding and they situated in 1 building. I bought my SRT in MB dealer office ( they got it as Trade-In car).

On the other hand MB water pump suitable for 2004 C 32 AMG and SLK 32 AMG costs near 250-300$ but no one knows , if it will fit my car

So the main question for me is: will MB pump fit?

Ideas?

P.S. My friend making nice photos, got plenty of them

The MB C32 pump will fit the SRT6 motor, since they are the MB manufacturer through AMG, even though its a 2004. All 3.2 liter MB motors are the same.

Here is the part you need, my friend:

Johnson CM30 Intercooler Pump - Crossfire Performance Parts SRT6 Johnson CM30 I... | Eurocharged Performance a full service Mer

It is a much nicer upgrade than the MB unit.

Zorg you are correct. The water pump and intercooler pump are two different parts. If the IC pump goes out the johnson 30 is an excellent replacement. Welcome to the forum and enjoy that SRT. There were 2016 SRT coupes built world wide. How rare are they in the Russian Republic?

Well, we got some small Russian Crossfire forum here. As long as i know there arent many SRT's in Russia . I think 10, maximum 20 SRT in total.

About pump: so MB enging water pump is best solution i guess?

Добро пожаловать, Зорг!

Crossfire Forum is one of the most informative single-model car sites on the Internet.

You may also wish to join SLK World. Some members of this board also belong to the SLK board because the Crossfire's guts are largely first generation SLK and the R170 forum is also very active.

Many of us also have interest in other sports cars. Can you recommend any sites that cover Russian domestic sports cars? I do read some Russian. I still have my Langenscheidt dictionary and Daum/Schenk verb book if Google Translate fails.

Personally I wouldnt do that, if you want to change/improve the looks of the car perhaps look into buying new wheels or some different parts. Theres some really nice accessories check this site out

There was one one version of the 3.2 AMG engine produced, so yes it should fit.
